CURATIVE HANDS 2026
Mindfulness Meditation Courses
Meditation
is
not
simply
about
sitting
still
in
an
uncomfortable
position
and
humming,
or
chanting
for
hours.
It
is
about
clearing
and
calming
the
chaotic
state
of
our
minds,
which
are
often
filled
with
distractions.
Mindfulness
meditation
focuses
on
being
present
in
the
moment,
without
allowing
worries
about
changing
it
to
take
over
your
thoughts.
This
includes
paying
attention
to
your
breath,
sounds,
tastes,
touch,
thoughts,
and
bodily
sensations.
Mindfulness
Meditation
is
the
practice
of
focusing
on
the
present
moment
without
judgment.
It
cultivates
love
and
compassion
for
others
as
we
slow
down and become aware of our thoughts and feelings.
People
from
various
cultures
have
been
meditating
for
thousands
of
years,
reaping
the
numerous
benefits it provides, including:
•Reduces stress and anxiety
•Improves mood and helps regulate emotions
•Enhances self-awareness
•Increases concentration
•Lowers Blood pressure
•Reduces heart rate
•Improves sleep quality
•Reduces pain perception
